This 1.5 mile section of Milestrip Road was a prime candidate for major rehabilitation work. We prepared the Project Initiation Report (PIR) as well as the design and construction documents to fully reconstruct the existing pavement section with new material, while widening the travel lanes and shoulders to withstand future traffic were completed in 2003. Underdrain will be installed to provide subsurface drainage to insure the structural integrity of the roadway. Both bridges within the project limits will be replaced with three sided bridge systems.
