The firm is preparing a comprehensive Master Plan examining facilities renovations and expansion for this historic museum, as well as analyzing spatial needs, accessibility, and the incorporation of interactive exhibits and displays. Recent studies of the new flood plain hinder an expansion on the existing site, therefore the Master Plan was extended to include an option of building in uptown.
